The Morning Detox Toddy is our favorite way to start the day. Made with orange, lemon and apple cider vinegar, it boosts your body’s natural immune system as it moves through the cold and flu season with an extra dose of vitamin C and nourishing minerals, while also supporting the liver in its detox work as we indulge in holiday fare. 

 

Morning Detox Toddy

Serves 2 

2 tsp apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
1 lemon juiced
1 orange juiced (around 4 Tbsp)
2 tsp maple syrup
Two pinches of sea salt
12 oz water (recommend either hot or sparkling mineral water, depending on your mood)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except water. Decide if you want a warm beverage or if you want something cold. Combine half of your apple cider vinegar mixture with 6 oz of water. You can save the other half and refrigerate to mix the following morning or you can combine the full mixture with 12 .oz of water for 2 servings. Best to drink prior to eating your morning breakfast!
